Trinity Children Centre Home
“A Father of the fatherless … is God in His holy habitation”
(Psalms 68:5)
Our Vision
Trinity Children Centre or TCC is a sanctuary for orphaned, abandoned, battered, abused and neglected children. Our main aim is to provide care and the hope of a new life for young children and those in their early teens. Our vision is to nurture and strengthen these children through practical programmes and by teaching them the power of God’s awesome love to heal battered spirits and restore broken relationships.
A Godly Mandate
Pastor Collin Gordon and the Trinity Community Centre congregation began pioneering efforts to set up such a home many years ago and in December 2006, TCC was finally in operation.
Responding to the burden God had placed in Pastor Collin’s heart to care for children in need, he and the church team started collecting provisions from generous church members, which were then distributed to orphanages throughout Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur. The experience and knowledge gained in dealing with orphanages in the early years prompted Pastor Collin to venture boldly forward to set up a proper home for needy children.
Today, the children of TCC are housed in a small rented semi detached house at Section 4, Petaling Jaya, a stone’s throw away from Trinity Community Centre. The home comes under the patronage of the Assemblies of God (AOG) Ministries. TCC is open to both boys and girls between the ages of four and twelve, comprising Chinese, Indian and Orang Asli origin and can cater for up to twenty children.
Instilling Solid Foundations
At TCC, we place an emphasis on bringing our youngsters up in the ways of God. As a Christian home, we instill biblical principles in them, which will provide a solid foundation in developing godly values and relationships with God and others. We also conduct prayer counseling sessions with the children to provide emotional and psychological healing.
Besides spiritual training, we also see to the children’s educational needs by providing schooling or home schooling, tuition as well as cooking and baking classes. Music classes such as piano, folk guitar, bass guitar and bongo are also provided. As for the older children who are not attending school, they are sent for training and courses which will enable them to seek good work opportunities in the future.
Our aim is to help these children achieve at least a Form Five education and if they are able to study further, we will support them till college level. Once they leave TCC, we will continue to keep close contact with these individuals, to ensure that they are still walking spiritually and are able to fend for themselves.
Our Existing Support Structure
Trinity Children Centre was birthed as a result of a vision given by God. His mighty hand has been directing us wonderfully in all that we do for His children, and day by day, the home is expanding its boundaries. As a result, our needs are also on the increase!

Our Existing Support Structure
Trinity Children Centre was birthed as a result of a vision given by God. His mighty hand has been directing us wonderfully in all that we do for His children, and day by day, the home is expanding its boundaries. As a result, our needs are also on the increase!
Currently, much of TCC’s support and assistance comes from Trinity Community Centre and individual donors. We began with six children and are planning to take in a maximum of twenty children, as there are many children out there who are in serious need of our help.
Besides a stay-in home staff, we draw on the different strengths and abilities of various shift staff to nurture these children. Our staff have been trained by the Welfare Ministry and NGOs with regards to running centres of this kind. We also have individuals who come forward to offer their time and talents to the children.
Currently, the home requires between RM8,000 to RM10,000 per month to run efficiently. This amount comprises of the rental for the premises, expenditure for the children’s needs, upkeep of the home and staff salaries. Trinity Community Centre is taking up much of this cost currently and is looking for generous organizations and individuals to help defray the monthly expenses. As the intake of the children increases, we need to tap the efforts and expertise of many different types of volunteers on a continual basis to meet our growing needs in helping these children.
We are looking for generous organizations and individuals to support us in cash or in kind. Know that God will certainly bless you, your family and organization a hundred-fold even as you look out for the well-being of these needy children.

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full--pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back." - The Bible
