JESUS IS RISEN!

Jesus is either a liar, or He is God who came in the person of Jesus Christ to die for your sins and mine. In John 14:6, "Jesus saith unto him, l am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Some reject the claims of Christ and at the same time claim that He is a great moral teacher. If Jesus lied about who He is, then He certainly could not have been a great moral teacher. Instead, that would have made him one of the greatest deceivers of all time. If he mistakenly thought that He was God, then He was a lunatic. Only one answer can be the correct one. The truth is that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who came to pay for the sins of the whole human race so that "whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE!"

John 11:25-26:
"Jesus said, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.

The Eagle is Shot Dead

"In my dream I was floating across America, but I had no fear. Bombs had landed everywhere, the land was totally destroyed. I saw people standing outside their homes weeping, holding onto each other. I saw dead bodies lying around. I heard someone say, "This should never have happened, this should never have happened."

National destruction had hit America. There was no food or water. Everyone was crying. I saw grown men crying and holding their families, begging God for mercy. The trees were all knocked over.

Limbs and leaves were all missing from the trees except a few of the main large trunk limbs. As I continued to move across America I saw people running, searching for missing loved ones many seemed to be totally out of their minds!

I floated over a large city which looked like Columbus, Ohio. There were riots everywhere. Store windows were broken, everyone was looting the stores. They were not taking T.V.'s and I-pads they were taking food, water, and things to help them survive. I even saw one man shot to death by someone in the crowd.

Moving at the speed of light next, I was standing on the back side of the White House. I heard a voice say, “Look toward the Truman Balcony.” I turned and saw Barak Obama standing on a balcony, holding a shot gun. I heard a loud scream... really loud. I turned my head to see where the scream came from. Flying high in the air above was an eagle it appeared so majestic flying over Washington D.C. (Terry did not know there was a balcony called the “Truman Balcony.”)

I saw Barak Obama point the shot-gun and shoot the eagle out of the air. It fell dead to the ground. Obama smiled and said, "I've done it, and I won't have to deal with this in my administration."

I heard a voice say, "Tell the people this is My will. This is My hand, both upon the generation of the righteous and upon the cursed. The righteous will find their way and know what to do. The cursed will wander around with no compass. The cup is full!"

From that point on I knew that we were coming to a showdown. It was going to be between good and evil. I saw some people gathering into homes that were not destroyed. I saw people having prayer meetings in which they were only praying in the Spirit. I saw others having a home bible study. I saw Bible prophecy DVD's, CD's and books from ministers on a table, they were using them as Spiritual food they had stored up to teach them in this time.

I heard a Voice say, "Pick up the mantle of prayer. Cover yourself with it and find you a secret place to cover my servants in prayer. Many eyes have been anointed with a special anointing to see. Others are blinded to My Word. All things will be revealed in their due course.

A supernatural wave of My Spirit will come over this generation soon. The FINAL voices are in the land to speak one last time. Think it not strange the happenings around you. They must and will come to pass, but I have placed in your hands: the food to sustain you in the months ahead. I have spoken and shown the matter. Tell my servants, saith the Lord, there is coming harsh days ahead!"

As I stood there hearing the voice of God, I saw a very old table in Washington D.C, it looked as if it had been used over many years to sign many important documents in the past. I saw a voting ballot laying on this table with two names on it. It had “Barak Obama” and “Mitt Romney.” I saw a checkmark beside Obama’s name. These words were written at the bottom of the ballot, “For this is the will of the Lord.”

Then I woke up.

THE CRUCIFIXION & RESURRECTION OF MESSIAH

The Crucifixion of Christ as Told in Ancient Texts

Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ? For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.

When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him. But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the twain will ye that I release unto you?
They said, Barabbas.

Pilate saith unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ?

They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.

And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done?

But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified!

When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.

Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

Barannas is Released: Christ is Crucified

Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified. Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers. And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head. And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him. And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.

And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull, They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink. And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots. And sitting down they watched him there and set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left. And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, And saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.
Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said, He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth. Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias. And straightway one of them ran, and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink. The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.

Christ is Crucified and Surrenders His Life

Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him: Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's children.

When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple: He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered. And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed. And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulchre. Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.

Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can. So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.

THE CRUCIFIED CHRIST DISAPPEARS

In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word. And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

THE CRUCIFIED MESSIAH APPEARS

Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me. Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and showed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you. So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Is Your TV Spying on You?

Our devices may be too smart for their own good.

You watch your TV. But in the near future, your TV may watch you.

In March, HD Guru wrote an epic post on unsettling aspects of Samsung’s new top-of-the-line HDTVs. TVs, as we know, are getting smarter and smarter. Specifically, they’re acquiring cameras, microphones, face tracking, and speech recognition capabilities--as well as Internet connectivity. These are features meant to make our TVs smarter and, by extension, to make us happier. (Imagine doing a Skype video call over your 40” flatscreen.)

HD Guru raised a host of questions: Could Samsung or its affiliates watch you watching TV? Could they listen in on you? If so, would Samsung, or anyone, store this info in the cloud? If so, would it, or could it, sell this data? What safeguards were there against hackers intercepting it? It’s a dizzying list, enough to conjure images meriting the adjective Orwellian--or, if 8th-grade English class is too remote by now, at least memories of that creepy mass surveillance scene in that recent Batman movie.

A few days ago, HD Guru (real name, Gary Merson) posted an update on his thinking. Samsung sent HD Guru an official comment and shared some of its privacy policies. A lot of what Samsung said was reassuring: “Samsung employs industry-standard security safeguards and practices (including data encryption) to secure consumers’ personal information and prevent its unauthorized collection or use”; “[the camera and mic] may also be used for video conference and speech-to-text services offered by third parties, in which case the audio and video data is transmitted to the service providers’ servers and does not pass through Samsung servers. Images captured in order to use the facial recognition feature are stored in a secure manner on the owner’s TV only.”

Though Merson quoted a privacy attorney saying Samsung needs to address some elements of its privacy policy “more properly,” for the most part, Samsung’s response seemed to suggest that people worrying that their TVs might watch them were suffering from some kind of paranoia.

But, as they say, just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you.

CIA director David Petraeus has recently intimated how downright excited the agency is about connected devices like smart TVs, refrigerators, or dishwashers. “‘Transformational’ is an overused word, but I do believe it properly applies to these technologies,” he said at a summit, according to Wired, “particularly to their effect on clandestine tradecraft.”

There are, of course, considerable legal restrictions preventing the CIA from becoming Big Brother overnight, with the help of the good people of Samsung. But the fact that the technology to make it possible is there, and is soon to enter our living rooms, is unsettling. Has the American lust for smarter gadgets created an Orwellian infrastructure that could, in a less enlightened future, somehow be abused? And if our smart appliances open us up to an assortment of privacy risks, then just how smart are they?
